Born and raised in Kyiv, I received an engineering education. In 2004, I graduated from Viktor Marushchenko\u2019s School of Photography, and since then I have worked as a professional photojournalist for a number of Ukrainian media outlets and international agencies. My work has been published in National Geographic<\/a>, Spiegel<\/a>, Stern, Time, The New York Times<\/a>, The Washington<\/a>, The Guardian<\/a>, Kyiv Post<\/a> and many other leading international publications, and has been featured in international photography exhibitions. In November 2017, I gave a presentation about my frontline work during the launch of the RAW photo book at the Ukrainian Museum in New York. My project \u201cThe Independent Ones\u201d<\/a>dedicated to young Ukrainians fighting for their country, has been exhibited in an online exhibition at the Ukrainian National Museum in Chicago. Contributor to Radio Liberty<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I have been covering Russia\u2019s aggression against Ukraine since the very first days of 2014, and throughout all these years have collaborated with international agencies such as AFP<\/a>, EPA, AP, Reuters, as well as various international publications.<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>
